Some examples of the high-performance, high-durability parts resulting from this approach include conveyor belt components made from Celcon® or Hostaform® acetal copolymers; oilfield pump housings made from Fortron® polyphenylene sulfide (PPS); and chemical pump housings made from GUR® ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).

As well as the acetal copolymers, GUR UHMWPE is used in conveyor systems because of its outstanding friction and wear characteristics. Also in this area, Vandar® polyester alloy is used as a linkage between conveyor elements, providing the right combination of strength, toughness and flexibility.
