Computer-Aided Engineering
In the area of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Ticona has many
years of experience with structural analyses of component design and simulation of injection molding
processes. Both types of analyses use the finite element method (FEM), which is a numerical method
for solving problems of engineering and mathematical physics such as:
