We are excited to inform you that Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE) has acquired the Zenite® liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and the Thermx® polycyclohexylene-dimethylene terephthalate (PCT) business of DuPont™. The Celanese Corporation is a leading, global chemical company, its subsidiary Ticona produces and markets a broad range of high performance engineering polymers.

This acquisition will enable Ticona to strengthen its position in the LCP business, especially in Asia, and expand our product range to promote further innovation with you. The transaction also adds PCT to Ticona’s High Performance Polymers portfolio.

Ticona will take over responsibility for technical and commercial support of Zenite® and Thermx® customers as quickly as possible.

We are taking all necessary steps to ensure a seamless transition and maintain the high service standards of Ticona.

Please continue to order Zenite® and Thermx® via your existing channels at DuPont™ for the time being. Once we have completed the integration of these products into our order management system, we will inform you about your new Customer Service contact.
